Persistence is business fuel.

What it takes to succeed is persistence. All the things that you read or know about wouldn't be worth a dime if you didn't make them happen. This is especially true in internet business and working from home in general. To make money and/or changes in your life happen you have to Work and Persist in your work.

A statement that I read somewhere on the web and that remained in my mind ever since, proves just that. It said that 98% of the people who try to make money on the web (particularly in MLM and affiliate marketing) give up due to the lack of downline building skills, but 98% of those 2% that don't give up get rich and retire wealthy with very substantial residual incomes.

Keep in mind that the only difference between those that achieved great things in their lives and those that didn't, whether is was money, or career, or knowledge or mastering their niche, was that they did not give up. It takes time.

Knowing this, they persisted to to work for their dream. They sought the knowledge they needed to advertise effectively; how to get targeted leads; how to network within social groups to make solid, trustworthy contacts, and finally how to make everyone involved profit.

Think of your business as a Ferrari and persistence as the fuel for it.

Use Your List Strategically To Monetize

There is a famous proverb saying that "If you keep going in the same direction, you are going to end up where you started." One should always look for innovative ways to get better, faster results in order to run a successful business, generating quality leads in less time.

The design of a site is a very important aspect. Your site should be such that it will not only attract visitors but also will pre-sell through images. Just an eye appealing site will not accomplish this because web design does not function in a vacuum. Every individual part of a website starting from the images to the navigation of the site and SEO all need to work together in synchrony, so that the results will generate qualified leads at lower cost.

Put a mailing list box on each page of your website. You never know when your visitor will desire to sign up for your newsletter. Never forget to send a newsletter to visitors who have sign up for your free report. It may be they will not immediately buy a product from you but you need to make sure that you are always prominent in their mind so the moment they get ready to buy a product they will buy from you. You can even set up a series of informational messages about your website services and use auto responders to keep them updated. These follow-up messages will remind your visitors about your services and will also definitely reinforce your relationship with them.

Never forget to send "Thank you" notes to the clients who have purchased products and or services from you. In today’s busy world a thank you note will make a difference that will register well with your clients. They will always remember you. Keep relationships going and ask your satisfied customers to each write a testimonial for you. This will promote you well and build trust with your potential clients.

Exchanging links with other related websites is another important aspect so that people visiting those websites will be able to see a link to your site and investigate. You can also use networking events to meet potential partners. Create your website portfolio on a separate page which will showcase the plethora of work accomplishments and clients. An experienced site owner will always look at the quality of your portfolio, whether your site has any testimonials, and to what type of clients you have provided services. Positive responses from them will contribute towards site owners becoming your potential clients.

Try to generate quality leads at no or lower cost, with less human intervention and effort; it is the most effective way to increase your sales, keeping your investment to a minimum. The right approach to lead generation can make you the fastest and largest growing company in your niche. Identify which of your techniques is generating more leads, try to think of new techniques and never forget to track the results for each technique that you are applying for generating leads. There are do's and don'ts in social marketing


When it comes to social marketing (which is in my opinion the best format), there are a few things the can can really hinder your success.

When you introduce yourself to someone, don't immediately pitch your business to him/her. faux pas. They'll think "Wow. what a jerk".


Leave your ego outside. Don't start talking about your success. They'll think "Wow. What a rich jerk". Major faux pas.


Don't start telling them how to do business. Let them ask you. After all we were all new to this at some time or another.


When they finally ask (and they will) what it is you do, be able to tell them. Be able to answer every question known to man about your business and how to reference it at the drop of a hat. After all, if you're gonna sell something you have to know what is and what it can do.


Keep in touch with your contacts and be their friends offline as well as on. People will work with people they know.
